Depression can feel so hopeless and helpless, and at the same time so hard to understand or explain to others. Life stressors, unresolved trauma, pain, excessive worrying, and unfulfilled dreams often contribute to or make depression worse. Even though so many people are affected with deep sadness, this can feel very isolating and lonely.

I believe therapy provides the path to find solutions to the causes of depression and helps guide you to reaching your life’s potential and to finding inner peace. My approach to treating depression is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can face the pain and uncover your internal power and resiliency against sadness.
